Make the most of World Confectionery Conference 2025 early bird rates

Plans for our World Confectionery Conference this year are fast taking shape, with our keynotes assembled for the event, as it calls in on Brussels to once again put some of the biggest issues, developments and trends under the spotlight.

Thanks are due to all those who have so far confirmed their involvement across all elements of the show, including Ferrero, Caobisco, Mintel, Euromonitor, Luker Chocolate, ISM, Fairtrade Foundation, Palsgaard, Corbion, Alland & Robert, and more to be confirmed, who will no doubt all ensure that this year’s showcase will once again prove memorable.

Throughout April, we have our early bird entry available for the conference, so be sure not to miss out on taking advantage of those rates before they’re gone.

There are also still plenty of opportunities to get involved if you are interested in speaking, as commercial positions within our programme remain on offer, as well as with exhibiting at this year’s event, so contact my colleague Chris Meer at [email protected] to find out more.

As for the state of play in the wider world, the past few weeks in particular have represented an especially turbulent period for global events, with the on-off saga of tariffs unravelling, heightened cocoa prices, and general market tensions that have all made major headlines and given governments, businesses and the public at large, plenty of food for thought. (Watch our video review of last year’s event below).

One of the core elements of our conference is that we do not shy away from tackling some of the most pressing subjects on the global agenda – which have been well documented in terms of supply chain challenges, introduction of EUDR and due diligence legislation ensuring transparency of production in cocoa value chains, as well as wider challenges within manufacturing.

So, as previously noted, we hugely value your input into the event, so if there’s any specific subject matter that you would like to see us cover that is topical and newsworthy, don’t be shy in getting in touch.

Equally, our World Confectionery Awards are also making a welcome return for our 2025 event and there’s no time like the present to put your nominations forward across our six categories, which you can do via our dedicated website, confectioneryconference.com

These will cover everything from new products, equipment, ingredients and sustainability categories, through to emerging enterprise of the year – which was added last year. This is one accolade in particular that I am personally very glad we have introduced, as offering some support to companies that are trying to find their feet in navigating what can be a notably challenging, yet rewarding sector, is something that is especially needed.

World Confectionery Conference Brussels – 12 September 2024

Our popular Q&A on sustainability within the industry will be placing the sector’s future under the microscope and discussing its future directions with the emergence of AI, advanced robotics, alternative ingredients, as well as challenges to its conventional cocoa supply chains. With the world in such a state of flux right now, the chance to take stock of events and exchange thoughts and ideas on the latest key happenings in our ever-dynamic industries is not to be missed.
