A freshly launched carob-based bar series, Caroboo, looking to challenge conventional chocolate ranges, after gaining key listings with specialist food store Holland & Barrett, writes Neill Barston.
As the business explained, there has been a sustained consumer trend towards reduced caffeine intake and healthier indulgences have fuelled the rise of snacking alternatives, a new chocolate alternative that ditches cocoa entirely.

As the company noted, research shows 39% of UK coffee drinkers are cutting back on caffeine, with decaf sales up 60% in just four years*.
